Ed Sheeran Croke Park 2015

Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be now be added to the famous lists of artists to perform in one of Ireland's sought after venues Croke Park Stadium. Ed announced his news on Thursday 19th February for all his Irish Fans to which he refers to as “among one of the best audience in the world”

This concert is to follow Ed’s 3 night sell out at Wembley stadium and after Croke Park Stadium he will take a well-earned break for a year. Tickets go on sale the 26th Feb at 9am and are estimated to cost around €69.50.

The Concert will light up Croke Park Stadium in Dublin on 24th & 25th July 2015.

Slane 2015 Line up has been announced!

Slane Castle is located in County Meath.

The concert will be held on May 30^th 2015.

The big acts set to hit the stage are Foo Fighters, Kaiser Chiefs and Hozier. More acts are to be announced in the weeks to come.

Seachtain na Gaeilge at Bewley's Hotels

 Irish, family owned hotel group Bewley’s Hotels have been announced as the official hotel partner for Seachtain na Gaeilge which takes place from 4 – 17 March.

 The group’s four Dublin hotels in Ballsbridge, Leopardstown, Newlands Cross and Dublin Airport will all be supporting Seachtain na Gaeilge by encouraging their staff to use the ‘cúpla focail’ in their daily dealings with guests. All guests arriving at the hotels will be greeted with a great big ‘Céad míle fáilte’, and staff will assist all interested guests in learning some key Irish phrases.

 The set menus and the early bird menus in the Brasserie restaurant in each hotel will be translated into Irish for the two weeks, with some helpful Irish phrases printed on them, so all guests will get a chance to try their hand at ordering ‘as Gaeilge’. The Tall Ships Race 2012 is coming to Dublin this weekend...

The race started in France and will travel across the Bay of Biscay to Lisbon, Portugal before carrying on to Spain.  The race will then travel north of the Irish Sea and will arrive in Dublin. 
The Tall Ships Races 2012 - Dublin event will take place from the 23rd of August to the 26th of August.

The excitement is brewing in Dublin this weekend, there are a number of great activities and events which are all FREE as part of the Tall Ships Festival. 

This is a weekend you don't want to miss out on!

There is a such a wide selection of activities and events to choose from over the weekend, catch a movie on the floating cinema, take part in the battle of the winds water sports, head to the bulmers live music dock to check out some great bands, head to the Festival hub for an exhibition on Irish culture or just sit back and enjoy the scenery of the Tall Ships arriving into Dublin.

Dublin city will be full of colour this weekend with craft markets, street performers and face painters. There is a Family Blue Zone on each day of the Festival, this is being held at Grand Canal Square.

There is activities for everyone, and it is FREE so it is a great weekend for all the family.

What a Blooming Weekend?

Despite the poor weather conditions on Sunday, Bloom was blooming this weekend and welcomed almost 80,000 visitors to the Phoenix Park Dublin.

Bloom is Ireland's largest gardening, food and family event.  There was something for everyone at the Bloom event, from live cookery and craft demonstrations to free gardening advice/workshops from the experts and great live entertainment for all the family.  Kids can attend Bloom for free, which makes it a more affordable day for all the family.

At 2012's event, the Brasserie Restaurants at Bewley’s Hotels sponsored one of the gardens which combined the artistic direction from Gold Medal Winner Gary Hanaphy with the relaxed and informal dining atmosphere of The Brasserie's at Bewley's Hotels.  

The 'Table For 4' garden won a Gold Medal.  ‘Table for 4’ garden involves al fresco dining and entertaining in a plush, luxury setting, where the colour palette of varying shades of green has the therapeutic effect of allowing guests to relax, de-stress and thoroughly enjoy their dining experience.

The Brasserie Group Executive Head Chef Brian McCarthy was busy cooking up a storm for all the winners of the ‘Table For 4’ competition, Congratulations Ruth Rock, Anna Hannigan and John Taylor.

We had a number of familiar faces who dropped by to view our award winning garden, we were delighted to show off our award winning garden to Pat Kenny, Mimi Murray, Corinna Hardgrave and many more. Thanks to all.
