Ireland V Serbia International Friendly at the Aviva Stadium March 5th 2014
The Republic of Ireland takes on Serbia this coming Wednesday March 5th in a 3 international friendly at the Aviva Stadium. In only their 3rd game in charge of the international set up manager Martin O’Neill and his number two Roy Keane look to build on an impressive start with a draw against Poland and a three nil win over Latvia.
Ireland’s players have been performing well with their clubs since the last international break; most notably Seamus Coleman has become an integral part of Everton’s challenge for Champions League football next season. Shane Long has made a permanent move from West Bromwich Albion to Hull City FC and it will be interesting to see if this move will improve on the strikers recent run of good from. There will be a wealth of big name players on display for both Ireland and Serbia with Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United and Aleksandar Kolarov of Manchester City set to make the trip to the Aviva for Serbia.
This game is shaping up to be a competitive contest and nothing beats an evening cheering on the boys in green at the Aviva.
